guidance and lack of guidance...
i'm out taking lots of b&w pictures
with my special b&w film
that i probably spent too much money on
i'm thinking about being disrespectful
the actual act, coming into and surrounding
forces left behind
problems happen that you see
stuff has hit the ground
i came into another understanding,
things being what they were
that i could find, for time to unwind
figuring out the verse
that we could play, that on what day
we'd leave this all behind
that things could happen
occasionally
between the grasp and the thought of the thing
that comes into view when you are about to make it your call
for all to come true
the word and the lines left unspoken
could let this pure heart be broken
that on that day, in what way,
we'd keep it all to ourselves
the mentioning of a phrase,
the curling of our lips,
that we could begin,
to start it again,
to hope in our hearts,
that we should be pure
to know what unspoiled territory leaves us barren
i'll show you the photographs when i've developed them
to take some time and make us aware,
that we should start, that we should care,
towards what end, judgment day will call,
and make it it's all, to come and to care
whatever what where,
the magical sound
of the verse opened down
today and tommorow
